| Discovery | This is the site consistently listed by educator's as an "all around" good site. It is a comprehensive site and includes aspects for students, teachers, and parents. You can use their puzzlemaker to create puzzles for the classroom. |
| Education World | This is an online site full of information of use to educators. There are lessons based upon themes. For example, right now, the focus is on Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. There are still links as well to Earth Day lesson plans. You can find plans by subject area, and this site contains good ideas and resources for using technology within the curriculum. |

| Lightspan | This is a free portal with lots of resource links and also a listing of projects that are being conducted online in various locations around the world. Teachers who are interested in doing a project with another school can use the resources here to register and make contact with other teachers to work collaboratively. |
| Twenty First Century Teacher | This site is free, but you have to register with it. There is an extensive survey as part of the registration process. The more items you indicate an interest in, the more items it will collate for you and present to you when you login to the site. |

| Kathy Schrock/Discovery School | Kathy Schrock's site contains lots of lesson plans and suggestions for using technology. She also has some "how to" articles too; for example, she has an online PowerPoint that explains what a WebQuest is and how to build one. This is part of the Discovery School site which also has lesson plans in a database too. |
