FRANCS

I use the francs to reward those students that are consistently following class expectations. You will receive francs at the beginning of each semester. Each franc is the equivalent of 1 point. At the end of the semester, I will collect your francs. You will receive a point for every franc you have not used. I will add the total points of your francs to your final grade. These are extra credit points. If you don’t have any francs left or if you have lost them, you will not receive any points.

You will be required to give me a franc if you…

1. 1. eat or drink in the classroom (at any time)

2. 2. are not on task

3. 3. are late to class

4. chew gum

4. 5. don’t bring required materials

5. 6. speak English to me without permission (Fr 4 & 5 must always speak French in class)

6. 7. leave the classroom (to go to the bathroom, locker, office etc.)

You must give me a franc before leaving the room.

If you don’t have any francs when I ask you for one, you need to give me double the next day.

You cannot use francs to get your homework.

You could loose more than one franc per day ( ex: you need to get your book from your locker = 2francs)
