In this course prior grammar and syntax are reviewed as necessary. One purpose of this course is preparation for the German Advanced Placement Exam. Students study German literature, art, politics, current events, and also view films, videotapes, and German commercials. Oral and/or written reports are presented. Students read German newspapers and put together a German newpaper and skit.

Prerequisite: C- or better in German 3 and German 4 or teacher recommendation
