Students at Los Gatos High School must earn 220 credits. When students fail a semester course, they earn 0 credits and fall behind on the road to graduation. Below please find Los Gatos High School's graduation requirements below:

History/Social Studies                              

3 years (30 credits) 

  • World History or AP European History - 10 credits
  • US History or AP US History - 10 credits
  • Government/Economics or AP Government/Honors Economics - 10 credits         
English

4 years (40 credits)

  • English 9 or English 9 Honors - 10 credits
  • English 10 or English 10 Honors - 10 credits
  • English 11 or AP Language & Composition - 10 credits
  • English 12 or AP Literature & Composition - 10 credits
Math

2 years (20 credits)

  • Algebra B or Algebra 1 - 10 credits
  • One other math class - 10 credits
Science

2 years (20 credits) 

  • First science class - 10 credits
  • Second science class - 10 credits
