The College and Career Center (CCC) provides resources for students in their explorations of post-high school opportunities. Our College and Career Center Coordinator Tonya Robertson, collaborates with the Los Gatos High School Guidance team to provide college and career support for all of our students. Drop by and see Mrs. Robertson in person or send any questions to [email protected] 

The College and Career Center is located-right next door to House 3. Come by for help with:
  • General college application support (help/advice on applications, major selection) 
  • Researching in-state and out-of-state colleges and universities.
  • Accessing resources for the college application process.
  • Appointments for meetings with students.
  • General career exploration support including military, certificate and other non-college options.
  • Assistance with extracurricular activity ideas (Internships, Volunteer opportunities, Summer programs, part-time jobs)
  • Learning about Community Colleges: degree /certificate programs and transfer agreements to 4-year universities
  • Finding dates/times of college visits, college fairs, SAT/ACT testing
  • FAFSA/Financial Aid Information Resources

Upcoming Dates to Remember 

November 17 :  FAFSA/Financial Aid Workshop LGHS Library 6:30 PM-7:30 PM (Recording will be made available).

November 23-25:  Thanksgiving Break

November 30: Application Deadline for most CSU and UC colleges. Be sure to check www.calstate.edu and universityofcalifornia.edu for complete details and the most current information. 

December 1: College Information Night Event for 11th grade students, parents/guardians. Event time 6:30 PM-8:00 PM. *Complete details TBD. Location-various rooms on LGHS campus.

December 23-January 6: Winter Break 

January 16: Martin Luther King Day

February 20-24: February Break

April 10-14: Spring Break 

May 29: Memorial Day

June 9: Los Gatos High School Graduation
