Junior Seminar: Letter of Recommendation Process — 4/17/25
This is a recording of the seminar that was offered to juniors during tutorial on 4/17. The presentation provides instructions/information about letters of recommendation at LGHS for college applications. Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Night — 3/25/25
This presentation shares how students can receive reduced tuition from colleges/universities that are part of the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE). One of the participating universities, University of Utah, presented information to our LGHS community. View the presentation slides here.

Junior Seminar: Application Types & Timelines — 3/14/25
This is a recording of the seminar that was offered to juniors during tutorial on 3/14. The presentation covers information about college application types (i.e., early action vs. early decision) and the timelines for different parts of the applications.

College Information Night — 12/5/24
We welcome juniors and their families to attend this event to learn about the various college systems, what they're about, and their general application requirements. There will be an admissions representative from one California Community College, one California State University (CSU), one University of California (UC), one out-of-state public university, and one private university. Families will be able to attend three of the presentations throughout the evening.

College Kickstart
Beginning in January 2025, all junior students will gain access to College Kickstart. College Kickstart helps students create a smart list of colleges to apply to using their personal academic profile and college admissions data. The software helps students create a balanced, realistic list. This recording shows a walkthrough of how to use College Kickstart when you gain access to your account.
