What is ACTT?
Academic Contributors for Today & Tomorrow (ACTT) is a fund established in 1995 to provide much needed classroom funds to teachers at Los Gatos High School. It is the only fundraiser the Home and School Club holds each year, and 99% of the funds are turned over to the teachers in the form of grants during the school year.
Gifts to ACTT are 100% tax-deductible as the Home and School Club is a 501(c) (3) non-profit educational corporation.
What does ACTT Fund?
Teachers request ACTT funds through a grant process in October of each school year. Grants are coordinated through departments to avoid duplication and to ensure ACCT funds are used for materials not available through other school sources. In past years ACTT has funded such materials as:
Computers, printers and LCD projectors
Defibrillator Training Devices
Weather Stations for science
Tools for the horticulture program
A Blueprint machine
Ludwig drum set
4 sewing machines
Chemistry lab equipment
Environmental Science Video Set
And other important classroom materials
How can I support ACTT?
Donations are requested at the start of each school year but accepted anytime. You can drop off a check made payable to LGHS/ACTT at the office or see our donation form online at www.lghs.net.
